Zephyrhills Womens Club
The Zephyrhills Womens Club will hold a gathering on Sept. 5, at noon at the Womens Club House 38549 Fifth Avenue, to begin discussing plans for the upcoming year.
All women in the Zephyrhills area who are interested in becoming members of the Womens Club are invited to attend.

On Aug. 16, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. the DAV Chapter 65 at 5325 Eighth Street, Zephyrhills will be holding a indoor Yard Sale.

Elks Lodge No. 2731
The Support Our Troops project is in need of volunteers. The members of the Lodge have been volunteering. This is a very worthy cause. Lets show the troops that Elks Care Elks Share.
The lodge is participating in a fundraiser cruise to benefit the lodge charities. This is a cruise and train trip to Alaska for 12 days in May 2009. Check the bulletin board at the lodge or call Janice or Ted at the Cruise Emporium (800) 746 - 3466 for details.
Christmas in July was a success, many gifts will be delivered to St. Josephs Childrens Hospital. Thanks to the members for Caring and Sharing.
The Elk of the month for August is Jack Osterhout the Coordinator of the Friday Fish dinners. He is a hard worker in that kitchen. Volunteer of the month is Lorraine Gilman. She is the one taking your order on dinner nights, also works on the floor cleaning up. Thanks and congratulations to each of you for your dedication.
The Tuesday menu for the month of August: Aug. 19, 8 oz. pork chop $8; Aug. 26, porcupine meatballs $7.
Fridays dinners are fish, baked or fried, chicken strips or ham. All Elks and their guests are welcome.
Karoke on Wednesday, August 13, will be from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. fun night Wednesday will be August 20, at 4 p.m.
Each Thursday, the lodge is open to the public for Bingo at 6 p.m. open to the public food available at 4:30 p.m.
Remember all events at the lodge are open to members and their guests.
Zephyrhills Public Library
The Zephyrhills Public Library, located next to City Hall 5347 Eighth Street, is open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
The Library book sale is held continuously in the library check out the bookshelves. Monthly bus passes are available at the library.
Let your creativity loose at the Creative Crafting class at the Zephyrhills Depot Museum. Creative Crafting is held the second Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m.
When a memorial or honor book is needed, please come in and purchase a book from our list of non-fiction books already in stock. All money from these sales goes back into the book fund.

Eagles Aerie Lodge No. 3752
Eagles will be serving meals through the summer on Thursdays. The menu for the month of August is as follows: Aug. 14, Country Fried Steak; Aug. 21, Yellow Rice and Chicken; Aug. 24, Beef tips and noodles. Music for the Thursday night will be by Linda from 4:30 p.m. until? Hope to see you there.

Zephyrhills Moose Lodge No. 2276 & Chapter #1682
Zephyrhills Moose Family Center Lodge No. 2276 and Woman of the Moose Chapter No. 1682, located a half a mile south of Chancey Road on 301, welcome all members, members guests, and prospective members.
The Moose Lodge offers a variety of nightly entertainment. There is live entertainment Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Karaoke is on Tuesday 7 until 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 8 until 12 p.m.
Also on Saturday night, we have the Saturday night dance in our newly remodeled lodge hall with our brand new 48 ft. bar, and on Sunday, we have live music with Pure Country Gold from 3 until 7 p.m.

The Tourist Club of Zephyrhills is located at 5216 Seventh St. in Zephyrhills (behind the Village Inn). Lobby hours are 9 to 11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday. We enjoy Ballroom Dancing on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. with music by our musicians Larry, Mark, and others.

Zephyrhills Computer Club
Located at the intersection of Fort King Road and Hwy. 301 in the Sunstate Aluminum Building, we have re-activated our computer club by popular demand.
Instruction is every Wednesday at 8 p.m. at our office. Beginners meet every other week on the first and third week of the month. Intermediate classes meet alternate weeks on the second and fourth weeks of the month. Club dues are $25 per year and $5 per class. You can bring your personal laptops if you choose.

It's that time again folks, for the best pancake breakfast bargain you will find anywhere.
Every third Sunday of the month, the Zephyrhills Lions Club serves all you can eat pancakes with scrambled eggs, sausage, applesauce, orange juice, coffee and tea for only $3. Join us at the Lions Den at 5827 Dean Dairy Rd. from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds from the breakfast go to help those in need to receive eye exams and eyeglasses.
